To all Christian people to whome this presente writing shall Come Pattrick Brewe Citizen and goldsmith of London sendeth greeting in our Lord God Euerlasting whereas Daniell Gill thelder of the Isle of Manne yeoman by one Indenture of lease bearing date the Eleaventh day of Iuly in the Six and twentith yeare of the Raigne of the Queenes Maiesty that now is made betweene the said Dannell Gill of the one party And the said Pattrick Brew on the other party for the Consideracion therin mencioned hath demised graunted betaken and to farme letten vnto the said Pattrick Brew his executors administrators and assignes all those his Sixe Messuages or Tenementes with all and singuler shopps Cellers Chambers halls parlors, Romethes gardens voydgroundes lightes easementes watercourses wells Pathes wayes Entries outgates proffites Commodities and appurtenaunces whatsoever to the same six messuages or tenementes or any of them belonging or in any wise apperteyning late in the occupacion of one William Gill late of the parish of Sainte Giles without Criplegate of London Gardyner deceased or his assignes ffive of which said premisses are scituate and being on theste side of Goldinglane and theother messuage or tenemente on the west side of White Crosse streete in the said parrish of Sainte Giles without Criplegate in the County of Midlesex To haue and to houlde all the said Messuages or tenementes with their appurtenaunces with all halls parlors kitchens Chambers Cellers sollers orchardes Gardens backsides voydgroundes lightes proffites easementes Comodities and advanntages whatsoeuer to them and every or any of them belonging or appertayning with free ingresse egresse and regresse into and from them and euery of them and all and every other the premisses with their appurtenaunces vnto the said Pattrick Brewe his executors admistrators and assignes from the feast of Sainte Michaell the Archangell nexte ensewinge the date of the same Indenture of lease for by and during the tearme of fforty and one yeares from thence nexte and ymediately ensewing and fully to be compleate ended and determyned Yealding and paying therfore yearly during the said tearme vnto the said Daniell Gill his heires or assignes the somme of twelve poundes of lawfull monny of Englande uppon the ffeaste day of the appostells Phillip and Iacob or within fforty dayes the said ffeaste nexte ensewing being lawfully demaunded, as by the same Indenture of lease more at large it doth and may appeare Whereuppon know ye nowe that I the said Pattrick Brewe for and in consideracon of a certen some of good and lawfull monny of Englande to me in hande at thensealing and delyuerie hereof by Edward Allen of the parish of Sainte Savyors in Southwarke in the county of Surrey gentilman well and truly paid wherof and wherewith I the said Pattrick Brewe doe by theis presentes acknowledge and Confesse my self to be satisfied and thereof and of every parte and parcell thereof doe Cleirly acquite release and dischardge the said Edward Allen his heires executors administrators and every of them forever by theis presentes Have bargayned and sould aliened assigned and settouer and by theis presentes doe bargayne and sell alyen assigne and settouer vnto the said Edward Allen aswell the said verited Indenture of lease as also all and singuler suche state righte title interest possession demaunde and tearme of yeares as I the said Pattrick Brewe or any other to or for my vse haue hath shoulde mighte or of righte oughte to haue of in or to the said six messuages or tenements and other the premisses with thappurtenaunces demised by the said verited Indenture of lease or of in or to any parte or parcell thereof by force and vertue of the said Indenture of lease Together with all and singuler the Rentes and Reuersions reserued vppon such meane Leases as are hereafter in theis presentes mencioned to be excepted To haue and to houlde all the said estate righte title interest possession demaunde and tearme of yeares which I the said Pattrick Brewe haue shoulde mighte or of righte oughte to haue now to come of in and to the said six houses or tenementes and other the premisses demysed by the said Indenture of lease together with the said Indenture of lease and all the Rents and reversions aforesaid reserued vppon the said meane leases vnto the said Edward Allen his executors administrators and assignes from day of the the date hereof vnto thend and full accomplishemente of all such and somany yeares as are now to Come and unexpired of the said tearme of fforty and one yeares mencioned in the said verited Indenture of lease And I said the Pattrick Brewe for me my executors and administrators and for euery of vs doe Covenaunte and graunte to and with the said Edwarde Allen his executors and administrators and to and with every of them by theis presentes in manner and fourme following (that is to saie) That the said Indenture of lease and premisses therein conteyned and all and singuler other the premisses with thappurtenaunces by theis presentes mencioned to be bargayned and soulde and euery parte and parcell thereof the day of the date hereof are and so at all tymes hereafter during the residue yet to come of the said tearme of fforty and one yeares shalbe and Continue Cleir and Cleirly acquited exonerated or otherwise dischardged and saved harmles by ʌme the said Pattrick Brewe my executors administrators or assignes of and from all and singuler former bargaynes sales guiftes grauntes leases fynes forfertures arrerages of rentes Cause and Causes of forferture and reentry and of also from all other Charges titles trobles and Incomberannces whatsoeuer had made Comitted done or suffered or to be had made Comitted done or suffered by me the said Pattrick Brewe or by any other person or persons for me or myne or one or any of our meanes assente orrasion or procuremente the said yeirly rente reserued in the said Indenture of lease and the Covenaunts graunts and agreementes in the same Indenture specyfied from hensforth on the party and behalf of the tennaunte or Lesse thereof to grow due to be paid perfourmed and kepte/ excepte and alwaies excepted one lease bearing date the Tenth day of Aprill 1592 in the ffower and thirtith yeare of the Queenes Maiesties raigne that now is made by me the said Pattrick Brewe to Richard Nicholas Cittizen and Clothworker of London of all that Teynter for broade Clothes Called the middle teynter standing and being vppon parcell of the premisses demised by the said verited Indenture and of one other little parcell of grounde lying on the West end of the said teynter for the tearme of thirteen yeares and three quarters of a yeare Commencing from the feast of Thannunciacon of our Lady Sainte Mary the virgin last past before the date of the same lease Also excepte one other lease bearing date the twentith day of September 1591 and in the Three and thirtith yeare of the Raigne of our said Soveraigne Lady Queene Elizabeth made by the said Pattrick Brewe to Peeter Peirson Cittizen and merchantaylor of London of one tyenter lately erected and bylded Called the lesser teynter standing vppon parcell of the premisses and of one other little plott of grounde Conteyning in length from east to west thirty and nyne yardes of asize and in breadth from North to south eighte foote of assize for the tearme of ffowerteene yeares and one quarter of a yeare Comensing from the feaste of Sainte Michaell the Archangell nexte ensewing the date of the same lease And also excepte one lease bearing date the two and twentith day of Iune 1598 and in the ffortith yeare of the Raigne of our said soveraigne Lady the Queenes Maiesty that now is made and graunted by the said Pattrick Brewe to Thomas Gybbs of London yeoman of all that Tenemente and a Certen plott or parcell of grownde sometime vsed for a garden late in the tenure or occupacion of Iohn Waynewrighte yeoman scituate and being in Goldinglane in the parish of Sainte Giles without Criplegate in the County of Middlesex for the tearme of Nyneteene yeares comencing from the feast of the Nativety of Sainte Iohn Baptist nexte ensewing the date of the same lease And I the said Pattrick Brewe for me my executors and administrators and for every of us doe Covneaunte and graunte to and with the said Edward Alleyn his executors administrators and assignes and to and with every of them by theis presentes That he the said Edward Allen his executors administrators and assignes for the said yearly rente of twelve poundes from hensforth to be paid according to the said first verited Indenture of lease and vnder the Covenauntes grauntes and agreementes in the same expressed shall or may peaceably and quietly haue hould occupy possesse and enioy the said Sixe Messuages or tenementes and all other the premisses by the said furst verited Indenture of lease demised with thappurtenaunces without any lawfull lett troble suite molestacion or interruption of me the said Pattrick Brewe my executors administrators or assignes or of any other person or persons whatsoeuer lawfully Clayming in by or vnder me the said Pattrick Brewe or any of them or in our or their or any of our righte title or interest except before excepted for and during all such and somany yeares as now are to come and unexpired of the said tearme of fforty and one yeares In witness whereof I the said Pattrick Brew herevnto haue sett my hand and seall yeouen the Two and Twentith day of November 1599 And in the Two and fortith yeare of the Raigne our Soveraigne Lady Elizabeth by the grace of god Queene of England ffraunce and Ireland defender of the faith &c
