Edmund Williams Packthred maker or their or some of their assignee or assignes, And alsoe all and singuler shopps Cellers sollers Chambers roomes yardes gardens backesides voyde groundes lightes easiamentes wells watercourses pathes wayes passages entries out gates proffittes Comodities hereditamentes and appurtenaunces whatsoever to the saide Twelve Tenementes and Playhouse and other the premisses or anye of them belonging or in any wise apperteyninge, or nowe or att anye tyme heretofore accepted reputed taken knowen demised leased vsed occupied enioyed or estemed as parte parcell or member of the same or of anye of them, Sixe of which saide Twelue Tenementes are scittuat and beinge on the East side of Goldinge Lane in the parishe and Countie aforesaide, and thother Sixe of the saide Twelue Tenementes are scittuat and beinge on the west side of white Crosse streete in the parishe and Countie aforesaide, All which saide Tenementes Playhouse and other the premisses abutt vpon white Crosse streete aforesaide on the East parte and vpon goldinge Lane aforesaide and the landes and Tenementes nowe or late of Thomas Langham ffishemounger nowe or late in the severall tenures of Garrett Arnolde and Richard Dodd on the west and North, that is to saye, parte on the west, and parte on the North, and vpon the landes and groundes nowe or late called the Rose and Crowne, nowe or late in the tenure or occuapcion of Iohn Hiller Goldsmith towardes the North, and the landes and Tenementes nowe or late of Richard Roper Baker, and Godfrey Isburd Haberdasher, and a peece of grounde apperteyninge to the Chamber of London towardes the south And the saide Daniell Gill thelder William Gill Edmund Gill William Clarke and Elizabeth his wife Phillipp Moore and Katheryne his wife Donald ffees of the premisses for or in respecte of his or their seignorie or seignories excepte and foreprised, And alsoe excepte of suche personne or personnes as shall clayme by vertue of one Lease bearinge date the Eleaventh daye of Iulie, in the sixe and and Twentith yeare of the Raigne our late soveraigne Ladye Queene Elizabeth made of the saide premissses by the saide Daniell Gill thelder vnto one Patrick Brewe Cittizen and Goldsmith of London ffor the terme of ffortie and one yeares from the ffeast daye of Sainct Michaell the Archaungell next ensuinge the date of the saide Lease, Wherevpon the yearlie Rent of Twelue Poundes is reserved and shall continue duringe the said terme. And alsoe excepte of such person or persons as shall clayme by vertue of one other Lease bearinge date the last daye of Iune. Anno Domini 1601 And in the Three and ffortith yeare of the raigne of our saide late soveraigne Ladye Queene Elizabeth made of the saide premisses by the saide Daniell Gill thelder, William Gill and Edmund Gill vnto Iohn Garrett Cittizen and Clothworker of London ffor the terme of Twentie and One yeares ymediately from and after thend expiracion forfeyture surrender or other determinacion of the saide firste mencioned Lease bearinge date the Eleaventh daye of Iulie aforesaid wherevpon the yearlie rent of Twelue Poundes is reserved duringe the said terme, And which said twoe severall yearlie Rentes of Twelue Poundes and Twelue Poundes shalbe and continue due and payeable vnto the said Edward Alleyn his heires and assignes during all the residue of the saide twoe severall termes of ffortie and One yeares and Twentie and One yeares nowe to come and vnexpired And further that he the said Edward Alleyn his heires and assignes shall and lawfullie maie peaceablie and quietlie from henceforth forever have holde vse occupie possesse and enioye all the saide Tenementes Playhouse yardes Gardens backesides wayes passages and all and singuler other the premisses with their appurtenaunces by theis presentes bargained and solde or mencioned ment or intended to be hereby bargained and solde and everie parte and parcell thereof, And the rentes yssues proffittes and revenewes thereof from henceforth comynge shall or maie receive take and enioye to his and their owne proper vse and behoof for ever without any lett trouble expulcion disturbance Clayme eviccion or interrupcion of the said Daniell Gill thelder William Gill Edmund Gill William Clarke and Elizabeth his wife Phillipp Moore and Katheryn his wife Donald Qualtrough and Margarett his wife and Hugh Cannell and Iane his wife or anye of them or anye of their heires or assignees or anye of them or of anye other person or persons whatsoeuer other then of suche person or persons sonelie as shall Clayme to holde the premisses by vertue of the said twoe severall Leases before excepted And the saide Danyell Gill thelder William Gill Edmund Gill William Clarke Phillipp Moore Donald Qualtrough and Hugh Cannell for them and the saide Elizabeth Katheryn Margarett and Iane their wyves and for everie of them their and everie of their heires executors and administrators and for everie of them doe further Covenante promise and graunte, To and with the saide Edward Alleyn his heires and assignes and to and with everie of them by theis presentes, That they the saide Daniell Gill thelder and Katheryn his wife William Gill and Isabel his wife Edmund Gill and Katheryn his wife William Clarke and Elizabeth his wife Phillipp Moore and Katheryn his wife Donald Qualtrough and Margarett his wife and Hugh Cannell and Iane his wife and their heires and all and everie other persone and personnes whatsoever and their heires anye righte title or interest vse possession revercion remaunder or demaund havinge clayminge or pretendinge to have to of or in the said twelue Tenementes Playhouse yardes gardens backsides and all other the aboue mencioned premisses with Thappurtenaunces or of or in or to anye parte or parcell thereof Other then the Chief Lord or Lordes of the fee or fees thereof and suche onelie as shall clayme to holde the saide premisses by vertue of the said twoe severall Leases above excepted att all and everie tyme and tymes hereafter when and as often as he or they or anye of them shall therevnto required shall cause knowledge execute procure and suffer to be donne knowledged and executed all and everie suche further lawfull arte and artes thinge and thinges devise and devises conveyaunce and assuraunce assueraunce suertie suer makinge and conveyinge of all and singular the saide Tenementes Playhouse yardes gardens and all other the premisses above mencioned to be bargained and solde with Thappurtenaunces to be had made assured and conveyed to the said Edward Alleyn his heires and assignes to the sole and onelie vse and behoof of him the said Edward Alleyn his heires and assignes absolutely for ever Be it by deed or deedes inrolled or not inrolled with thinrollement of theis presentes fyne or fynes ffeoffament recovery or recoveries release confirmacion or otherwise with warrantie against all men or without warrantie All which assuraunce soe to be had and made shalbe at thonlie coste and Chardges in Lawe of the said Edward Alleyn his heires or assignes They the said Daniel Gill thelder and Katheryn his wife William Gill and Isabel his wife Edmund Gill and Katheryn his wife William Clarke and Elizabeth his wife Phillipp Moore and Katheryn his wife Donlad Qualtrough and Margarett his wife and hugh Cannell and Iane his wife not to be compelled to travell further for the makinge of the same further assurance or assuraunces then the saide Isle of Man And yt is further Covenaunted graunted concluded and agreed betwene all the said parties to theis presentes for
